Title: Greetings, Homo Sapiens of Earth! ^.^

Greetings, Homo Sapiens of Earth!

My name is Mizz A Mind. I make a range of music inspired by the industrial movement, hardcore, the full scope of extreme metal, grime, dubstep and D&B. Throw anything “experimental” at me and I will probably love it! Lyrically, I like to tackle very weighty and controversial issues, specialising in philosophy, politics and sociology.

I released my debut album, “The Think Skank” earlier this year, which was a personal and philosophical journey, interwoven with and commentating on current events and political conflicts as they occurred, while venturing through the works of Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Friedrich Nietzsche, Anton LaVey, Aleister Crowley, and Christopher Hitchens, (among others) for two and a half years of learning and contemplation in the hopes of finding new contentment in my existence and challenging any dogmas that I may still unwittingly hold.

You can listen to the entire album here on my official website. ^.^ http://mizz-a-mind.webplus.net/think_skank_album.html

But I am here because I began writing lyrics when I was 11 and I shared them on a forum much like this one. I currently live in a one-bedroom flat with my partner and another couple, and so there isn’t enough space for my recording equipment. XD Due to this, I have been writing lyrics, but haven’t been able to do much with them for now.

I want to steer my writing in a new direction for my next album, and really, I think that some critiquing from fellow musicians could do me some a lot of good, and prevent me from making a “Think Skank Vol. 2” :D

So, that’s me and I hope I to be quite active here! I’m very PM friendly and excited to meet you all and see what you guys have been making. :)

Thank you very much, guys! ^.^ It’s great to meet you and I’m glad you seem to like the music.

And yeah, they’re definitely a -big- hang up for me, and I write about them quite often. XD

Yeah, really cool. I know some people whose heads would blow up if they heard this. Haha. Really dark and thought provoking, but still listenable (I won't say easy listening! Haha) Excellent stuff.

You're all incredibly kind. *Blows many kisses* :D

And I always feel honored when I "blow up peoples' heads." ;) I came close when the college thought it was a good idea to drop me in front of a primary school, but I think I think that the closest I ever cam was confronting lots of drunk people with my fetish mask, screaming and ritual performance, fresh after the other bands. XD

I've had a lot of fun here so far! :)
