Hi!
This is a song that Darren1664 wrote the lyrics for.
I finally had the time to do a proper re take of the vocals.
Comments and suggestions are welcome!

I was tired and broken and would have left this world behind me
If I knew for sure that I could be with you again
How do I move on?
Oh, how I needed you then
You told me that I would fill my heart with sorrow
So you wanted me to try and love somebody new
I have learnt to love again
But I still need you now
Braver than brave; your last words when you were bound
Into the night was to tell me "it will be alright"
Love transcends through the flesh and through the bone
I still feel your love burn within my soul
Is someone truly gone
If inside us they live on?
[chorus]
As you held me for the last time
You held yours tears and wiped away mine
and said I love you, be strong
Braver than brave; your last words when you were bound

A somber song with a vulnerable sounding vocal which suites the song very well although it is a bit pitchy here and there,
I thought the vocal was a bit to loud, the rather nice guitar was often drowned out...
nice work!! :) :)

Hey Martin
Thank you so much for your work on this and for taking my lyrics and turning them into a fab song.
As already mentioned I love your vocal in this. I think you have really captured the mood and atmosphere I was hoping for with the lyric. I know there were some issues with the amount of words in the original lyrics and I hope my edits helped rather than hindered :P but you have done a wonderful job. Lovely progression behind the melody and your guitar sound is gorgeous. Thank you again. Great stuff :)

Yo Martin and Darren.
Fragile and achingly beautiful. This song is everything you don't hear being pushed on the media,it's beyond them, they only know what money sounds like.
I love lyrics that make me think a little, they leave room for individual interpretation and allow the listener to bond with the song.
Great collab you two, you've made something lovely. 8)

You've really captured the perfect mood for the lyrics here guys. It sounds so delicate, a little bit broken and bruised and full of emotion because of that. I think to add anything to it or polish it more could compromise that sense of fragility about it, so no suggestions from me other than to be rightly proud of this moving collaboration.
