I have been contacted by a TV production company based in London and they are looking for songwriters - and where would be a better place to find the perfect candidates than here!!!!!!
I can think of a few people that would suit this opportunity so I wanted to throw it out there

Here are the details:
Thames TV are creating a brand new show for a major UK broadcaster and they are looking for songwriters of any ability to take part.
Do you have a song that is about something personal to you? Or would you like help writing a song for a loved one?
This brand new show gives people the chance to work with a current music artist to create an original song and perform it for their friends and family. For example do you need help proposing to the love of your life? Has your parent been supportive through a hard time and you want to say thank you? Are you celebrating a big wedding anniversary and want to serenade your partner with an original song? Or maybe someone you know has done a lot for their local community and you want to surprise them with a song!
Email lifetimeperformance@thames.tv to apply. Send us your name along with information regarding the story of the song you want to create. Deadlines for applications are 7th August 2017 and you must be based in the UK.

That was quick.
Just had a call from a researcher at Thames TV, gathering more information.
Nice guy, had obviously taken the time to read through the information I sent.

Hi,
Regarding the forthcoming programme, I decided, at the last minute, to make contact by email and had a reply email very quickly. Then I had a phone-call to give some more details and at the end of the conversation was told that someone will be in touch if there is any more interest. ( Not exact words but something like that). It was quite nice just to talk about songwriting for a while with the researcher who seemed to show a genuine interest.

Well as this thread is back at the top, I might as well comment.
I don't think I'm going to be on this show.
Mainly due to the fact that it was on the Tv recently, and I wasn't on it! ::)
