Title: New to the UK from Seattle
Post by: Seattlemusicguy on February 27, 2017, 08:52:12 PM
Greetings

I recently moved to the UK from Seattle and currently live/work in Oxford. Hoping to connect with other hobby songwriter types here, especially if you live in the Oxford or London area (I am in London often). I record my songs "live" with no overdubbing or remixing using a single microphone to capture both voice and acoustic guitar (steel string, classical - nylon sting, and a funny little thing called a Guitalele).

Look forward to listening to other members music.

regards,
David

Hey David,

Welcome, great to have you with us!

There's plenty mix in here, so your acoustic recordings will go down well but also plenty of advice available if you every decide to take the plunge into a bit of home producing!

Now Guitalele, that sound fun! In the process of looking for a ukulele for my mum (dainty little hands making her give up on the guitar) and you've just extended my search!

Looking forward to hearing what you hit us with!

All the best,
Scott

Hi I'm new to the site, and pretty new to songwriting. Live in the London suburbs and work in central London. Looking forward to hearing your stuff.
