Hiya, thanks for reading this. I have been composing music for a while, and though it's kind cheesy, I realise I want to give my songs a kind of 'pop' sheen in places through the use of certain sound effects.
I'm not just looking for a place to download said sound SFX but hoping someone can inform me how to create them myself? With a plugin or something? I use Mixcraft. Or if not where I could find a library?
I'm looking for a few things:
1) A kind of Shhhhhhh sound effect like when you've gone into a chorus or something to give it more oomph. Example: at 00:51 and then repeated through the song.
2) 00:15, 1:06 in A kind of sharp in take of breath SFX when everything has gone silent
3) 00:48, 00:50 In this song there's a really cool kind of sound, hard to explain, like a kind of Detuned Laser almost. Any ideas?
Thanks for any help!

Hi Matt
I went through exactly the same process when I decided to take a "sabbatical" a few years ago to concentrate on my production
I can't listen to your examples at the moment but I can definitely try to help you out and share what I have learnt
Here are a few examples of how I have used the types of things I think you are referring to so if there is anything in these specifically you want to talk through I can obviously help a little more because I did them!!!

Ok great can I start with, at 00:16 in Jungle Juice, the long whooosshhh sound when the beat kicks in?
