Title: What genre am I?

I'm having trouble categorizing my music I can have a clearer path in promoting it. Any ideas? Your opinions would be very helpful.

I just had a listen to a few snippets and I would say:

80s influenced singer/songwriter

Some tracks lean towards indie/rock but (IMHO) lack a bit of "edge" and modern touches to really stand up in these genres

Depending on your goals for your music I would recommend really trying to get your songs to sit in a genre, especially if you are writing to build a fan base or are looking to push your music commercially in the future

If you are just writing and recording "for fun" then you can completely ignore the above and genre doesn't really matter at all
