I make that 23 entrants - see below in alphabetical order - I have tried to make sure all correct, but please do let me know if anyone missed or any links not right!
Now for voting:
- please listen and vote for your top 3 in order of preference.
- all entrants must vote, but not for themselves! (If you don't vote then penalties will be applied!)
- suggested voting criteria: concept, melody, lyrics, structure, and how well the song fits the bare bones brief and competition rules.
Please send by private message to both "adamfarr" and "PaulAds" by 15 August. Anyone can vote!

Listened and commented on all of these now. I've got it down to a short list of six. Bit more listening and pondering to do over the next week. A (bone) cracking competition!

yes its very difficult ive listened to them all & the problem is there are great songs that dont fit the bare bones theme as well as songs that arent so great but do

Got my scores in.....
...gotta say, our 1+1's are in an up hill battle with the full production songs :'(......I mean, how can we even hope to compete with such stellar recordings :o!!

I'm working on my votes...tallying, tallying, tallying...and I think I'm doing a pretty good job of focusing on the words, melody, and prosody and trying really hard to disregard the production. ;D

Votes are steadily coming in...it looks like it's shaping up to be a very close run thing :)
Can those who've entered please make sure they have a listen to all the other entries and leave a comment on the individual song threads if at all possible...

The definition of bare bones is a difficult one, but as we left it open for everyone to interpret...I hope in the end I went for what I thought were the best songs and disregarded production. Maybe we should have said why our songs were bare bones? Anyway, it was so difficult to choose, because there were great songs across every genre!

OK, I've voted. There is one track which sounds to be a clear winner to these ears. Let's see if I'm right ;)

Hi All - back in the land of wifi so will be back around here a bit more!
Lots of votes in - still plenty of time (today and tomorrow) to vote. Anyone who has entered a song definitely needs to vote of course and anyone who hasn't should give a leisurely listen and support the competition with your votes.
