Hiya
I wanted to share with y'all the new forum logos...

Here is the "favicon" / "tag" that will be used for shortcuts, browser tabs, caps, t-shirts, coffee mugs...

I am looking to reflect a "professional and fresh" look and feel to the forum when it is redesigned
Apart from the general look the functionality will remain "as is" - hopefully with a few requested enhancements

now that looks very smart! pink & black & a mixture of fonts ... i love it
lets hope we dont get mixed up with the sausage festival or something tho

I like. A nice dusky (dusty?) pink with black. It works for me. Sign me up for a pen and a tote bag. :D Oh wait! What will the background color be? Can't be pink. Or black. Hmmmm, white is so....errr, white. Gray ("Grey" for almost everyone here except me)?

Just for the record...girls liking, and boys not liking, pink is not a universal truth. My son likes pink and my daughter does not. :) :P

Less than 100 years ago pink was considered a boys colour, and girls were dressed in blue. It only changed for good in the 1950s.
And even if pink is a 'girls' colour, attracting more women to the forum is only a good thing IMH(BC*)O :D

its a deep pink ..sort of wild strawberry....anyway are you serious about merch...are we realy having tshirts & mugs... boydie dolls & skub trolls? ;D

It's not pink guys it's a pale salmon magenta red with undertones of light purple. Not pink.

what happened ,this was 7 months ago?
i expect the guys complained it was too pink & would damage the virility of their songwriting :)

I want to take my time with the forum revamp as keeping it running "as is" has always been my priority
Updating the forum software to bring new features will mean a change of look and feel - so I want to make sure I choose the right one
I will most likely put up the new forum on a different server for everyone to test and play with before making it "live"
But I certainly don't want to hurry anything - if it ain't broke and all that :D

I personally wouldn't mix so many fonts.
I would go with the script only, i.e. like the second part of the logo.
Also, I think the pink is a bit too pink.

Nice with a new logo! The current one has a bit of a 00's futuristic touch to it that kind of yells out midi-drums. :)
The new pink tone is IMO a bit too bright. It nails that old fashioned 16 colors pink/magenta but I don't think that's a good thing.
Anyway I'd like a T-shirt to look cool in.
