Hi all,
Hope the late summer finds you well.
This one's a bit more heavy than normal - was looking for an ebb and flow with a relentlessness in the chorus to try and capture the theme of the song.
The vocal is deliberately mixed a little lower in the outro as I was trying for a feeling of someone being almost drowned out as they're being swallowed up by the world around. Or it's just bad mixing - you decide. Lol.
Thanks for checking out and any comments.

Future Sound of Life
Dim the lights
And shut down the radio
Play your part a
Puppet in the freak show
Keep it low
But, I hear the radio
I hear the radio
The radio’s on
Hold your gun
Cos you have the God right
Violence walks
A bullet on the inside
Master calls
The servant leads the old fight
Found a new low
And low is your birthright
I don’t want no more
No more than what I’m missin’
I don’t want no more
No more than what I’m missin’
I don’t want no more
No more than what I’m missin’
I don’t want no more
No more than my rights
You got the white house
City’s on fire
People in the black room
Lookin’ for a life
Turn the world west
But it never looked right
I’d burn your flag
And you wonder why
Feed your law
Keep me on the outside
Justice falls
And I’m on the last rite
If she talked
Then she’d lead the one fight
Out from the darkness
Into a new light
I don’t want no more
No more than what I’m missin’
I don’t want no more
No more than what I’m missin’
I don’t want no more
No more than what I’m missin’
I don’t want no more
No more than my rights
You got the white house
City’s on fire
People in the black room
Lookin’ for a life
Turn the world west
But it never looked right
I’d burn your flag
And you wonder why
You got the white house
City’s on fire
People in the black room
Lookin’ for a life
Turn the world west
But it never looked right
I’d burn your flag
And you wonder why

Hey @digger72 (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=9823) ..
Lyrics are fantastic for starters. Some great lines in there -Turn the world west
But it never looked right
I’d burn your flag
And you wonder why
I absolutely LOVE the heaviness of it..Those guitars are fab and the heavy beat...
Katja's sweet and sultry vocals work beautifully against the heavy backdrop and the relentlessness of vocal delivery really sucks you in... the interlude before "Feed the law" perfectly placed..
Catchy as hell... absolutely love everything about this track..
FAB!

You guys are officially BACK!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🔥🤘🏻🔥 it’s FANTASTIC!! Great arrangement and performances….you must be pretty chuffed with this one huh?? I would be…very catchy and interesting….only thing I noticed is a lip noise at 1.53…of course that’s real nit picking…but a bloody good song needs it….😊🤷🏼♂️ Congrats guys!🎶👊🏻🎶👊🏻🎶

@digger72 (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=9823),
Really cool guitar intro. In fact there is some really tasty guitar throughout this song. This one advertises it's intention from the start and delivers a fantastic production and song with great dynamics throughout. The vocals are outstanding. a smouldering song that grabs our attention and holds on to it!
Well done

I do love your heavier stuff @digger72 (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=9823) In fact I like all of your stuff :) Great driving beat and love those crunchy guitars. Great vocals from Catjia. This has a real sinister sound and it rocks like a rocky rock thang :)
