Paul from Salisbury here, I've been writing, singing & performing for many years. I find the home recording process very frustrating. Hoping to pick up a few tips & advice on this forum

Hi and welcome Paul,
I not far away from in Hampshire.
There’s a thread about recording. Have a look around, read the rules and get stuck in.
It’s a really supportive environment, get stuck in.

Hey Paul,
Neil said it. I'll add this: I believe you'll feel right at home here. I'm pretty sure about half the members are named "Paul"! ::) :P :o

Yo Paul! Welcome to the forum. I hope you find much of value here. 10 years old and going stronger than ever! Home recording is a bit of a dark art - it's taken me a long time to get comfortable with it, and at least in my experience, there's no substitute for just spending time doing it. Get it wrong until you figure it out. Can be quite frustrating, but the results are worth it in the end. Also, there are lots of knowledgable folks here who can help you out, so don't be afraid to ask for feedback on your productions/ mixes/ whatever.

Hi Paul! I'm gonna start struggling to keep all these Pauls straight.
Salisbury is a beautiful place. I have played Salisbury City Hall two or three times with my work outfit Jive Talkin'
Think we've all been to both ends of the emotional spectrum with home recording. The rewards are worth the agony...eventually I am told.
Welcome to the forum!
