Title: To A New Dawn, A New Way
Post by: Dogmax on February 26, 2019, 09:10:44 PM
I had a dream, no warning signs here

      -------------------------------

I stepped aboard a dream to a new dawn I wake

In a new world to begin a new day

We'll set the sails high we'll fly to a bright new star

Where we'll stay for a while and for a while we'll learn

A new way

They don't use sandbanks to stop the flow

Hey I don't know do dreams go that slow

No border no break through no NWO

Just a new world a new way

Where the truth is not feared

I stepped aboard a dream to a new dawn I wake

In a new world to begin a new day

We'll set the sails high we'll fly to a bright new star

Where we'll stay for a while and for a while we'll learn

A new way

I wake from my dream to this new dawn

In a planet that I've alway call home

No god do I bow no politics will ruin this world

Set those sails high and turn this ship around

We have seen the promise land, we are going home

I had a dream

"They don't use sandbanks to stop the flow" - that's a cool metaphor. You have lots of ideas - I'd love to see a finished song from you.

Thanks Adam, I suppose a finished song will happen whenever i get to record and listen back but at the moment all i want to do is get back into writing my own lyrics, it's been a long time   :)
