Niel, What's the Roadhouse like? In particular the pickups? I fancy one myself. They do that lovely white one with a maple neck and tortoiseshell pick guard. Can't find a shop where I can try one out. In the last shop the guy was sure I meant to say 'Road-worn' Sorry but they're really not for me. Case of 'the Emperor's new clothes' IMO.
They're, there, their  ...  They're all different!

electric :

squier strat. £51 off ebay. perfect out the box. ( thank you for spotting it shiny )

squier precision bass. lovely neck on it and superb action but tempted to change the Pups.In another life have owned a 4001 chequerboard Ricky, an Overwater C bass and a Shergold Fretless/12 string twin neck - all now sadly gone , but this cheapo precision has the best neck I ever did finger.

Acoustic:

Tanglewood TW28 6 string ( bought for the missus. Technically. ) ;)

Walden 2010 Concorda 6 string

Brunswick BTK601 12 string ( 149 quid from new, amazing low action , nice tone, good projection , electro acoustic, had it about 4 years and it hasn't folded in half yet. Bargain.) if u fancy a 12 string check these out. tried 3 back to back mind and the other two were nowhere near as nice !
