I well pissed a covers band off once. I seemingly requested ‘Sultans of Swing’ as they played it at this pub residency every week. At the the end they asked me if I liked it. I shouted back ‘WTF was that? I asked for ‘Sultanas of Swing’ which is completely different, as they should have known.

No, not too late. BOOM. Shit, they found out the reason why the PA cut out tonight. The washing machine was on fast spin upstairs and zonked all the lecy. The sound engineer guy was totally confused by the low hum noise which happened to be the final rinse, spin and drain. Ah ! Im freshly laundered, spun, drain and tumble dried and ready for bed
