Your piano playing really is beautiful... I'd love to play like you!

These are really moving lyrics. I really wanted to write something for a friend when she lost her baby in infancy a couple of years ago, but nothing i wrote seemed right. This is so heartfelt. I still don't have the right words now. But it's very moving.

Very very nice John, glad to hear you're just using your piano and vocals on this you have done a great job here, again beautiful lyrics from Tony.

You have a great style in the way you play your piano although you know yourself one or more keys need to be tune, as for your vocals, you can sing Man but like me stay away from those high notes, just relax Mate and go with the flow.

Really really great song John, will listen again   8)

 hey guys

you've made some lovely comments to this piece
yes they are very powerful words I couldn't sing them

john first sent me a demo of APRILS SHOWERS because he loved the words
but it had already been done by DYLAN / DOGMAX PAT, so out of respect to john
I said I would work on something in that area for him to tackle and came up with this

 YOUR BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL

I have told john straight and he agrees his vocals are not the best
so he toned it down a little and man what he lacks in vocal ability
he sure makes up for with passion, and I think he's done a lovely job
 on a difficult song,

well done on this john I love it mate      THANK YOU SO MUCH

                                                                               tony.

Very nice
             Yes sung with great passion & feeling.Delightful piano...& melody....nice & easy going &
although vocals need tightening it does not detract from a great collaboration :)

Well done Tony & Jim :)  Stylus

Hi guys,
Touching lyric and delivery. Like the simple arrangement. Needs some TLC to make it really good, there are some repetitive bum notes which take away from the delivery. Good collaboration, well done guys.
Cheers

Delicate tune, nice piano chords to match the words. I could hear the strings playing in my head!
Two thoughts - on the chorus I think I'd look for variation of the melody so you dont always end up on the same note on the last word ( girl ) at say 2..36 to 2.38. And I liked the middle section but not the transition back to the chorus at 3.19 - those chords just sound wrong to me.
Anyway good demo, look forward to hearing how it ends up.

This track has bags of potential

The piano and vocal need tightening but the sentiment and emotion is coming through by the bucket load

There are some great chord changes in there

I am also hearing some subtle strings and vocal harmonies

Great stuff  ;D

Hi,

I really liked the piano work. Sorry, but the vocal wasn't for me, although it captured the mood of the song.
I like the idea of introducing some harmonies or backing vocals.

Cheers,
