I reviewed around 50 lyrics to get to the selection and the voting was really close, so in ascending order here they are:
habiTat - Wrath and Benjo - Shakin both with 2 votes
Jess - Shirt and tie - 3 votes
SoulPunk - Suitcase of Photographs - 4 votes
and so the winner is
songsthatcry - the child - with 5 votes.
Congratulations to all and thanks for voting. And BooBoo has kindly accepted the challenge for this month so you have been warned.

Well its really enjoyable, interesting and difficult to narrow it down but its done, so please read the lyrics carefully and then send a pm to me with the following:
Competition : Lyric of the month.
Song : name of song
Composer: composers name
You will have until 15th August at 12 midnight to make your selection. I will then collate the results and announce the best lyrics in this post.
Best of luck to all writers, may the best lyric win.

Hello Michael ..
Although I'm one of the more lyrically illiterate members of this forum,
I was just like you a year ago .. started by writing few lines .. and the half page .. then full page .. then .. it's what you hear since I joined this forum .. I remember leaving this forum after 4 English songs .. now I have almost 20 songs .. take that step Michael .. go for it .. write something and break the handicap .. good luck man .. :D :D :D :D

Do lyrics have to be posted in the lyrics section in order to be considered for the lyric of the month comp. ??? ??? because there are some pretty good lyrics in the finished song section, that I think should be considered :) :) just a thought ;D
