Hi guys, This is a novelty rock'n blues song, that Cris and I co-wrote several years ago :)
I'm looking for feedback, mainly on the production, but all aspects of the song as well ;D
 I hope you enjoy ;D

Nice song! I like the beat in your song, and the solos are also great! Good job!

It's a good song if a little predictable.. the 12 bar blues thing is a little restrictive though I know...
really like the mamas and papas sound you have on the vocal.. :)

production is way good enough and i wouldn't worry about it too much..this is a songwriting forum after all innit!!! it's a very listenable song and the quality is easily good enough for yer average non audiophile listener :) :)
I intend to spend less time on production with future songs...

best, Kevin :) :) :)

Thanks JOdejo  :) I'm glad you liked the beat :)

Thanks Kevin  :) Of course blues is predictable, but this song is really all about the lyrics :o

Nice! My only real suggestion on this one could be to pick up the BPM a bit - you've got a great rock'n'roll groove going but it feels a bit ... restrained. The piano in particular sounds great and with a little more tempo could have some Jerry Lee Lewis moments...

Your signature sound is duetting vocals I think, but I might like to hear how it would work with one (yours in this case) coming and going a bit more to keep the interest levels high?

Just some thoughts - nice writing!

That's cheered me up on and a long Friday afternoon!
Reminds me of the rocking track that singer songwriters did in the 70s (Jackson Browne sort of thing). Really like the dual vocals and the easy going feel to the production.

Thanks for spreading the joy!

Tom.

Great song. Very well written lyric that made me smile - lots of clever lines and unexpected rhymes. Features your usual crazy twist and tongue in cheek persona. Beautifully played piano - did you get Jools in for that?

So good to hear something uplifting and lighthearted.

Great stuff.

Loved it - Would like to hear the vocals dominate the groove - but a great job

Nicely put together Suzy and I like the understated kind of laid-back vocal style though I agree it could come up a little.

Guitar break is cool in the same understated style.

Nice piano in this...doesn't get in the way but takes its moment in the spotlight in great style!

Good little rockin tune, well performed.
Take it easy.

I like hearing a new subject in a song,  I can just picture those bingo mama's tearin up the town and dancing on pool tables.
