One of my new year resolutions is being fulfilled tonight. I'm doing my first solo open mic, 3 of my songs, my Gibson and me. Kingsbridge Inn, Totnes, South Devon.

I'm bloody nervous but determined to enjoy it. Wish me luck.

Thanks for all the kind words of support people. I was first on and a total bundle of nerves but I think I got away with it. Vocals went OK, hands seemed to have become detached from my arms and weren't doing what they were supposed to. I wasn't the worst act on and I'll be better next time. I'm proud of myself for conquering the fear but I know I didn't do myself justice this time but I'm determined to improve.
