Hey Guys & Gals

Looking for someone with time on their hands to put some music to the following lyrics.

My tastes are pretty eclectic so not too fussed about any particular genre or style.

V1
This old bench
Has many tales to tell
Seated many folk
On sun bleached oak
Where stories come to dwell

V2
This old bench
Keeps secrets never told
Sun, wind and rain
He'll share the pain
Of hearts broken by the cold

CHORUS
It's seen
Cute girls, sad girls
Babes in mother’s arms
Bad lads, mad lads
Turning on their charms
Young folk, drunk folk
Thinking it's a bed
Old guys, sick guys
A coffin for the dead

V3
This old bench
Bares tattoos of lovers met
But loves unkind
And leaves behind
Carved scars of deep regret

V4
This old bench
Sheds tears to love’s guitars
Sad songs born
On a winters morn
Has launched a thousand stars

CHORUS
It's seen
Cute girls, sad girls
Babes in mother’s arms
Bad lads, mad lads
Turning on their charms
Young folk, drunk folk
Thinking it's a bed
Old guys, sick guys
A coffin for the dead

MIDDLE 8
The straights and the leaners
The doers and dreamers
The lighthearted
And heavy of soul
Some just getting started
Many now departed
It’s felt the weight
Of all who come to call

CHORUS
It's seen
Cute girls, sad girls
Babes in mother’s arms
Bad lads, mad lads
Turning on their charms
Young folk, drunk folk
Thinking it's a bed
Old guys, sick guys
A coffin for the dead

OUTRO
This old bench
Has now seen better days
Its job is done
Its time has come
And like summer fruit, decays

Hi Arkwright,

It isn't that I have time on my hands (I wish)  :D but I have come up with some music for This Old Bench.

It probably would be a better sound on headphones. I have been playing it with a more catchy rhythm but chose a calmer one to sing the words to on this recording.  :)

Just an idea, anyhow, to see.

With Best Wishes from
