@shadowfax - Thanks Jeff for everything you did for us guitarists, inspiration, something to aspire to, I really admired for hiring Tal Wilkenfield.

Well the thing about Jeff is that I never really liked his style of playing (All that whammy bar and violining - just got on me nerves), but I do respect it, Steve Howe, and Pat Metheney were others that flew right past me.

Check this out..He gave up all of his time for her, on my favourite song "Cos weve ended as lovers" written by Stevie Wonder...

OMG - That is EXACTLY how I feel about Jeff Beck, which hasn’t been a popular opinion amongst my guitar/muso friends!

However, I do also appreciate the irony that someone respected as one of the best guitarists on the planet is best known for a “novelty song”   

I have the BluRay of the live at Ronnie Scott’s gig and I quickly tire of the guitar noodling - but Tal is definitely the best thing about that gig
