Verse 1
The snow on the grass is slowly melting away
It reminds me of my heart
Cold at first, but then it starts to thaw

The wind in the leaves is making them fall down
Like rain, they fall on me
Dry and cracked, meaning trees will start to grow

PC 1
Ooh, feel the lines on my hand
Ooh, watch the sun over the sand
Ooh, being here with you is
All I really need

Chorus
I’ve never felt as free as I am right now
Your head on my chest
My heart in your hands
And I’ve never felt as free as I am right now
Your body next to mine
My wings spread open wide

Verse 2
The flowers in the yard are blossoming again
Some are blue, like you
Light and clear, and staring back at me

The water in the lake is calmer than ever
I can see the life beneath the surface
Quick as a flash, I see the fish swim away from me

PC 1
Ooh, smell the rose in your hand
Ooh, watch the birds as they land
Ooh, being here with you is
All I really need

Chorus
I’ve never felt as free as I am right now
Your head on my chest
My heart in your hands
And I’ve never felt as free as I am right now
Your body next to mine
My wings spread open wide
I’m free

Hi I am Tom

I liked the sense of floating away and being free in your song.

Hi, that's a real good lyric

''Cold at first, then it starts to thaw''....real good....and really true of people in situations..

Question: did you deliberately avoid rhyming the verse lines? Just an obsevation, that all...

Chorus is repititive enough for people to remember
