Title: F**k it
Post by: Liam on July 26, 2018, 05:27:32 PM
Don't worry it's a positive post , I get so frustrated I have so many lyrics flowing out of me- but I keep waiting for someone to help,so I've decided f**k it - I'm just gonna record my lyrics , make some noise with the guitar whatever it is - get used to recording my voice and f**k it otherwise I won't get anywhere - yeah it's gonna sound s**t  to start with but who cares it'll be my s**t

Hey Katie,

Hope you're doing well.

This sounds like exactly the right thing to do! Your lyrics will inspire some 'guitar noise' which will inspire your melody, which will inspire your lyrics, and so on.

Keep us updated please,  love to hear the direction you come out with.

All the best,
Scott

Amen.

Sometimes, you have to say f**k it to get rid of the bullshit.

It's easier to pick out what you like from lots, than from nothing

Keep on doing it K

Trying to turn lyrics into songs is a great way to improve your lyric writing.  It's the right thing to do, and you'll get deeply frustrated otherwise.
