have you ever tried to play like Bill Haley?  As part of a historical project I'm doing I had to copy his style and I can tell you it wasn't nearly as easy as I expected!
Turn the gain down to zero and record a solo like he did them! You might be surprised when you listen back 😎🎸😎

Hats off to Bill, respect!

Never could get close to playing the solo from Rock Around The Clock. Not sure who the original player was - Danny somebody IIRC

Danny Cedrone ... These guys weren't Rock N' Rollers really, they were jazzers. It is a cracking solo, but it's not a typical solo for the genre at the time.
