Yup. My choirboy days also ran through my voice breaking, so I am
fairly
comfortable singing
through the break
, as the saying goes.
I use it mostly in my backing vocals. Saves having to get a female singer in

I can sing pretty high but I'm unsure of the criteria for falsetto, and the other types.. baritone etc..
So I'm not sure
How do they define the different ranges/types?

I have three voices I use:
1- Normal vocal range
2 - LOUD bee gees type falsetto when needed
3 - Normal falsetto that comes in with anything over high Bb(ish)

For me falsetto is "head voice". You sing from a different part, higher, in your mouth, and your diaphragm is far less of a push here. I am not sure of the exact definition and may have to google to check it out now you have piqued my interest!
