I have Eris 4.5 (Presonus). They're all I know but sound so clear and "detailed" to me. Were on the more reasonable $$side as well.

A little relieved over here as mine was the only opinion in town! But they definitely sound good, are highly adjustable, and have all the input options.

....Tannoy Golds but reds will do
Tried a few but really only use cans , although i sometimes use my JBL 46’s.
Are you only using the monitors now? Or in conjunction with cans too? If so how are you dealing with the difference in how they present the mix?

Old topic but hopefully not dead.
I’m looking at the e4.5s but concerned about a lack of low end and wondering whether I should splash out on E5s that go down 50hz or lower. You guys have the e4.5s and seem to like them. Has bass been an issue at all?

Nor for me. It also depends on your room and positioning - 5 inch speakers can get very big very soon. I can only really imagine that such low bass response would be an issue for EDM - in which case I think you'd need a separate big old super woofer anyway.

Good news, thanks guys. I’ll go for the 4.5s and put the spare cash towards a better mic 👍
