It sounds awesome and I love the video

Tina and Ally falling off that bridge had me I stiches

I haven't been able to add anything yet but I intend to , but it might be the weekend at best

Dutchbeat and I chatted about a forum collab and my sugestion was a band aid type christmas song - I still think this would work and could get the forum some publicity

I am up for writing such a collab if people would go for it - my vison is to write it on acoustic guitar but get everyone to contribute a track - bass, guitar, sythns , drums and everyone else vocals - t have a proper structure in place

But it might be naff  ???

Anyway DB this is fab - far better than I tought it would turn out :)

thanks Kafla, i am certainly in for your project

i can't sing but perhaps i can add something on the keys...

and i know, i shouldn't say yes to this because i have various other projects that need to be finished, among which some work on songs written by....Kafla  ;D

i was thinking, when this one is finished, would it be ok to enter into that annual uksongcontest on behalf of thé songwritersforum....just to see what grades we get....what they think of this forum initiative
i think i will be replacing the link in each post, so that others who still consider adding don't have to search for the latetst link. So here is the current version:

You may know me as ??? Aunt V, but I'm very invisible and not very active so you've noticed.......but so once in a while i'm interfering.  I'm a huge fan of DutchBeat,  kind of person who sticks on your couch. But now I'm going to Paris, so good-bye for the present!

Now that's spooky hahaha  :D :D :D
There are holes in the sky where the rain gets in  , but they're ever so small, that's why rain is thin.

I don't think DutchBeat put a timescale or deadline on this so it might not be too late

I would suggest pinging him a PM with a description of what you want to add and I am sure he will be willing to squeeze it in!

DutchBeat is a dream to collaborate with so I would say go for it!!!!

There is no deadline, but i have to get back to this and start working towards an end one of these days, i think

to be very honest, i recently updated my computer (music) software, and tried to clean up the computer, well to a certain extent (what a mess) and for a while i thought i accidentially lossed the whole project...aaiii, in the process of that cleaning and deleting things...(as well as every project i did after "feels like yesterday", so even the collaborative project with the lyrics fr0m Sellon, and the track i made with SoulpunK)

so, i was sort of thinking lately, how am i going to bring this news to the forum-members that contributed...

but this weekend i stumbled across a folder, and there they were....all of them

i am terrible with computers, and i make a mess of the projects themselves, and not disciplined enough to tidy it up (which i should because Ramshackles offered to do a final mix, but i least should get the tracks sorted out)

but any extra input is welcome, because the idea of this particular project was to get as many forum members involved as possible, a choir of thousands of forumites  :P, many instruments etc.,

as a tribute to this great forum!

here is the latest version and video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mTKhZI0szI&list=UUKIka_VENBJcBRbs60GGq2w&index=5&feature=plcp

any addition is welcomed: singing, soloing, samples, filmclips (preferably songwriters dressed as elves  ;D) etc.
i can send the music track as it is, as an instrumental, a sheet with the lyrics and chords etc

PM me if you are interested to try something

Argh I didn't know this was still on!

I'm gonna try and find a spot in this song that I could try add without complicating too much lol. If I'm allowed that is? There's so many damn stems in this though hahaha.

Might do a random little laid back arpeggiated vocal twiddly lol.

Omg that was trippy! I can't find a space I'd feel comfortable using, it'd clutter things up =/

Wow, that project is an amazing idea !
I'm new to this forum and it's great to see all this talent working together and coming up with a result like that.

a band aid type christmas song
Now I'm not usually a big fan of christmas songs, but this sounds awesome :)
