Can anyone help with queries re: lyrics / songs - registration and protection for a singer songwriter - who will be recording her own songs and also wants to offer samples for DJ friends/associates to play around with.
I have all my lyrics parts of songs etc written down and sealed in envelopes which I will be putting into one package and sending to myself by registered post with signed seal by the cashier + the files on my computer that I have should be included.
I have researched into one company
http://www.songrite.eu/ a link from a friend but we are unsure of its legitamacy - it costs 25euro for one song and 45euro for an album upto 14 tracks -which is an opition once the tracks have been recorded although expensive.
I also have a query as to registering yourself as a singer/songwriter in cases of paid performance - is it necessary - what are others doing ?
Hope someone can give me some advice ?
