Hi Skaye,

Welcome to the forum.

Energetic playing and vocal.
I thought it was very good. Would be interesting to hear a version with a little more polish production wise - the same energy and feeling but in a more controlled environment.
Thought it had some nice variations throughout. Particularly liked the howls - works well.

Cheers,
Digger

The accompaniment and vocal treatment were TOTALLY different than what I inferred from the lyric.

It was a completely positive surprise.  Actually a WONDERFUL surprise.

I loved the song.  Was amazed with the guitar composition, and impressed with the guitar performance.

Nice picking on the 12 string. You listen much to Leo Kottke?

Great stuff Skaye.

Hi Skaye,

impressive song with a good video to go with it. Just a minor point. "She conquered my dreams" is more grammatically correct if she conquered them in the past. If she's still conquering your dreams it should be "she conquers my dreams". I think conquered sounds better. Sorry to be picky.

Looking forward to hearing more of your songs.

I really enjoyed the song and the concept

I think you could have sold the song more with less frenetic finger picking during the vocal parts - but I did really enjoy the picking when you let loose - great stuff!

It took me a while to get my head around the room reverb from a performance in an open space  ??? - I think the "post processing" may have also made the audio a little "hot" in places

I would love to hear the natural sound of you singing in the woods - I think this would help connect the audio and visuals a little more

Overall though I thought it was a great song

 Hi,

Great performance, sold the song for me ;D

Love the energy and attack in the gtr playing,
Like the way you use that thumb pick, and the
expression you put into the rhythm...excellent
You 'lean in' to your playing, which is always a
 joy to watch  ;D

 Good stuff  ;D

Nowt as queer as folk...........my gran
