Title: Hi from Los Angeles

Hello guys,

I have just signed up in this forum.

My girlfriend's dream is to become a songwriter: she took a songwriting class in a local school and she wants to pursue songwriting as a career. I *try* to play the guitar and I like to write my own songs too, but I have never finished any work since I was 16 - I'm 34 now, but it felt really good when the song I wrote was being sung, played, etc by other people. :D

I'm kind rusty now when it comes to composing new songs, so I'll be looking around this forum to get some inspiration.

PS: Sorry for my bad English as it isn't my mother tongue.  :-[

Your English is great.  The fact that you play an instrument puts you streets ahead of me. Good luck to you, and your girlfriend in this journey :-)
