Wrote this late ,about a week ago..i keep getting a pop up for Unicef on my comp, asking for money for winter clothing...iv`e not really spent too much time on it,,,sort of inspirational ...
little girl on my screen
i would like to help you
but it`s a dream
every time i look
i see eyes to scared to cry
and there's no time for a game
all excuses feel so lame
so i will stay quiet
and drink from my cup of shame
coin in my cup,or a little white glove
whatevers cheaper ,whatever gives it up
i don`t mind.
it`s all the same..my cup of shame
two handful's of dirt don`t make up
for a heart full of hurt
syria,,syria
and all the lovin won`t make it better
wont make it go away..
Hysteria.
i`m fearing for you
won`t they let you go
little girl on my screen
and where have you been
and eyes that have seen
oh,ooh..Syria
a coin in the cup
and what ever gives it up.
It`s all a dream..
a silent scream...

I really like this, and the idea and story behind it is quite inspiring. We've all seen these ads pop up, "drink from my cup of shame" pretty much covers how we ignore them.
Some great lyrics here, especially "two handfulls of dirt-heart full of hurt".
Nice one.
