I got this idea of a doomed romance between two criminals, or at least the subject is a criminal and the partner an unwilling one.

Felt I had a 1st class ticket
To the moon
Everywhere is calm
Today's in bloom
Leave this town for good
If not for long

Take those things that make you happy
Make you smile
Bury them in memory
For a while
We could grow our own
To shoot them down

Line up our acquired treasures
Toast with rum
Faces on a poster
We're on the run
Move on through the night
'Till one of us is done

Now those bars across your window
Spoil the view
Don't wait for a letter
I can't help you
Leave me with my shame
And poison too
Could turn myself around
Start anew
Or take my sins to Him and serve my time

Thought I had a 1st class ticket
To the moon
Everywhere was calm
Today no bloom
Left that town for good
If not for long.

This is a really interesting idea and the lyrics are really good. I had to read it twice to really grasp the story you were telling but that might just me me and others will get it straight away. I like how you played with the structure and did something a bit different too.
