Hi, heres another work in progress. Ill modify it online as i work in it. Im eager for suggestions as some in the past have helped me improve songs.

Verse 1
Am C
I never seem to sleep at night
Em C
When the moon is hung in sweet delight
Am C
And the trees they swoon in a darkened wind
Em  Am/G7
And the stars they seem to suck me in
Verse 2
On the riding road when drunk at night
Winds can send you from your bike
Into hedgerows deep within
When moon and stars they seem to grin

Chorus (speed up tempo slightly)
Memories of whats said and done
Fade with risings of the sun
Love for mothers, brothers, sons
This applies to old and young

Bridge
Phoney wars, and holy wars
Waged by rich men, fought by poor
Seem to knock upon our door
Em Am
Whats more ......

The line they throw/threw
For the trusting to crow/chew
Laps in and out our ears

Am  C
Despite the growing years
Em
To spite our ears
Am
To fuel our fears
Em
To stoke our jeers
Am
To wet our tears
Em
Despite our years
Am
Despite our years
