Not many lyrics posted on here in the blues style, and with the passing of BB king,
thought i'd put that right. Here's to you man.

                                Satisfy these blues.

                 Hurry home mama
Been pumping it with my fist
                 Hurry home mama
Been pumping it with my fist
                 It's a secondhand tune
                 This organ needs an organist

I miss you in the kitchen
Miss the way you cook my meat
I miss you in the kitchen
Miss the way you cook my meat
And your cherry buns and doughnut
                 Honey they can't be beat

                 This engine may be rusty
But mama it's still rolling right
                 This engine may be rusty
But mama it's still rolling right
                 And when you climb aboard
                 Mama gonna run all night

                Masculine women
                They're just not my type
                Masculine women
                They're just not my type
But you won't hear me complain
If she want's to smoke my pipe

                She gives me a bone
And she makes me beg all day
                She gives me a bone
And she makes me beg all day
And when she blows that whistle
                I come right away

She's got a sweet black pussy
                A sweet black pussycat
She's got a sweet black pussy
                A sweet black pussycat
I love the sound of purring
When i'm stroking it on my lap

                So hurry home mama
                Put on your running shoes
                So hurry home mama
                Put on your running shoes
                Your dog is all alone
                Come satisfy these blues.

Vintage,
To an engish white bog you've got it, that that authentic repetitive blues, sounds basic and electric Chicago to me. And the obvious analogy which runs all the way through  ;D 2nd verse is my favourite.

Loved the lyric.... and it sang well, although I couldn't come up with a "blues feel" as I sang it.

I'm sure you have one in mind though.  I'm looking forward to hearing it.  Your songs have a real tendency to be "mutually reliant" between the accompaniment and the vocal.  I've learned not to create "expectations" for how the song will sing because you always surprise me in a good way.

Boy, got my eyebrows raised and all a-sweat  with all that innuendo !
Yeah I can hear blues - not the slow mournful stuff though - this has to rock!
Bye bye BB - I say, rest in peace.
He woulda liked this I'm sure.

This lyric has certainly satisfied my blues. It tells a great story has plenty of nice little details that gives it character ie baking the cherry cakes, the black pussy (cat) - I have to say I thought this might have got a bit 'blue' never mind blue until I read the following line ;)

Effortless read with a great flow. Hope you get this put to music soon as I'm really looking forward to hearing it. The right melody and this will be an absolute gem :)
