difficult song to review as I have friends from Liverpool who went to the match and came back physically, but were changed forever.
I thought the chorus worked, as did the commentary. I felt at times that the song rushed a bit too much to allow the full effect of what happened to sink in. For example at 31 seconds when the question why is overshadowed by the drums. I'd have preferred to hear the drums starting softly, maybe just the kick, and building to a crescendo before the verse started. There are a couple of other places were a little more time to allow thoughts to develop would have worked really well.
I think you should have used "our" rather than "the" in "the day will come". We may support different teams but we all want to see justice done.
An emotional song, so, more than usual, ignore my suggestions if you disagree.
