Life Is A Picture was played recently at my late husband's funeral or celebration of his life.

Very pretty song, Marrianna.
Thankyou, Vickie,
I don't think it will ever be a chart 'Hit'! but the words seemed to be appropriate for the occasion and so a long-forgotten about song has now found it's place in the present and it was good to upload it on Soundcloud.
Thankyou for your comment Vickie. It was nice to see and has helped me.
Am thinking of you and good luck with your album.

Your story is very sad. I thought the song was appropriate for your husband's memorial. My condolences.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's a touching song for sure. Sweet and simple, but it also has clever touches (like the double meaning of "drawn me closer to you", that's a neat way to end the choruses). Nice song.

Dear Paulyx,With ManyThanks
I have not been able to look on here too much because of these sad and hard times I'm going through, but happened to see your message today and am writing quickly to say thankyou for your kind words. Kindness is so needed at these times, especially. It is so much valued.
Thankyou for the comment about the last line 'My mind has drawn a picture etc. ...' I am pleased you noticed and liked it.
Hope things will get easier for me one day to think about music again.

Thankyou, MonoDB,
I am sorry not to have seen your message before but have seen it today and am writing to thank you. I am pleased you like Life Is A Picture and it is an example how a song we have written is suddenly relevant when it had become a long, distant memory. The meaning I put into the words are with me personally each day, now, and serving a new purpose in a way.
Thankyou very much and for your review as well You are very thoughtful.
With All Good Wishes from

Hi Marrianna,
Very sorry for your loss. Hope time is helping you heal.
Seems a very fitting sort of song. Has a late 50s early 60s ballad quality about it.
All the very best,
Digger
