sometimes they tear me apart

Carve all these scars in my heart

Lead me off this road that I’m on

Into the dark(ness) till I’m lost
pre

But I feel the light in my soul

And there's one thing that I know
Ch

I need to lose my demons

Fly with angels

Up there with freedom

Forget the wrongs get it right

Out of sight out of mind

Don't need em

Make some heavenly changes

I need to lose my demons

Fly with angels
V2

They call from hell at 10pm

Using the voice of my drinkin’ friends

Come on man, let the good times roll

But I got a woman here at home
Pre:

And where will I be at midnight

Running wild or by her side?
Ch

bridge

Tonight I’m sober as stone

She’s here ’n temptation’s gone
Ch

I lost my demons

Now Fly with angels

Up there with freedom

Forgot the wrongs got it right

Out of sight out of mind

Didn't need em

Made some heavenly changes

Found some sweet salvation

I lost my demons

Now Fly with angels

The intention of the voice when saying the words has impacted me and left a strange feeling, a mixture of being good and desolate at the same time...
A deep lyric, a guitar that is the needle that sews the fabric, lines that paint loneliness and hell and others that wrap you in feathers, so light.

Very good song chico!!  @Elvis Nash
I did not know that to live we had to die so many times

They'll will be a series of songs I'll cut that were demoed to pitch before . I see no value in wasting songs cuz Nashville don't want them. This is the first one. Well I guess heaven is a few songs worth doing , hell is money and dealing with reality , But on a good note I caught a 20 lb catfish yesterday
Thanks Mora

Really well written song Elvis - it has more of a rock vibe than a lot of your catalogue? The production sounds very smooth and polished although I'd have liked the sound of that base to have been a little more menacing, though I guess thats a personal taste thing. Really good though!

Ooh
I like this a lot Elvis
Very powerful and positive
Production top notch
I like that tense bild up and the eventual release.
A very credible vocal too!
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

And there you have it.

Its just country rock guys , i added African Gospel singers on BGVS ,
Troy who sang it first is a lot more country sounding then me , I think you really have to be from the south to get that Nashville Twang sound .
I just re- cut it for me to sing , since i promote myself .  thanks for listening guys , I appreciate it , it was 3 writers Brent myself and Troy added don't need em, didn't need em, to fit melody. that fits the story . BZ Lewis mixed it , I hear he worked the vocals on a few tricks .  I'm like George Westinghouse I surround myself with people smarter then me. Though George was a genius , he was not proud and had 100's on engineers to say tackle Niagara falls on electricity.  Edison was a bit different , he took all the credit on everything , kinda of a glory hound. Now Tesla was smarter then both of them , but a horrible business man. i can relate with that .
