What better way to honour the coming of the Summer Solstice...which is today, Saturday 20th June 2020...also the first day of summer and the longest day of the year...than by releasing The Christmas Crasher 7" Single featuring "Christmas Like It Used To Be" and "Ho Oh No" - almost certainly the only two Christmas songs I will ever write?
Unfortunately, I forgot that the release has to be reviewed and approved, etc...so it won't actually be released until one month from now...July 18th...which loses a little of the irony i was hoping for...but still gives it plenty of time to annoy people whose minds are on other things and then to sink without trace :)
Anybody else done anything pointless or miscalculated badly today?

Bravo on that contrariness! I love that song anyway, whatever day of the year you choose to release it.
I will be getting up pre-dawn tomorrow to watch the sun come up from the Long Man of Wilmington. Now you've made me want to wear my Santa hat as I do so.
Happy Solstice & Merry Xmas Mr Ads!

I love that song 'Christmas like it used to be' ;D. It's still on my playlist, and every time I hear it, that brilliant video is playing as well ;D ;D. Memorable stuff my friend ;D
Did you put the video together as well ? If there was any justice.......you'd be rich and famous, and I'd be the overpaid guy who tunes your guitars ;D ;D
Best of luck Paul....

I read that June/July is actually when the big recording stars and record companies start selecting their Christmas releases. So you and Mariah Carey are on the same page Paul. You will be able to compare royalty cheques in January! ;D

Thanks, fellas!
Yeah, Bin...I knocked the video up in my garage/studio. Using “Elf yourself”
Still makes me giggle a bit at the ridiculous-ness of it all...
