Post by: James Nighthawk on May 22, 2013, 09:10:43 PM
A new gig review, hot of the press from last night!

I reckon there must be some fans of these chaps on here. Wordy, acoustic, folky, and very pretty music. Any other fans lurking on the boards>?

saw them support Elbow at Cardiff i think last year, maybe 2011. Guy Garvey came on stage and said " it's not often you have the privilege of witnessing history in the making " blew me and the missus away, very powerful set so we bought the album ( becoming a jackal ) on the way out. bit disappointing, sounded a bit tame after the live experience but grew on us after a while. not heard the new one yet. recommend them live, for sure.
