Dear fellow Songwriters,

I'm looking for a kind piano player to compose an emotional pop piano piece, approximately 3:30. All in all, I would like it to have a 'hard hitting' emotional feel to it. I don't mind what key it's in but please stick to the modern pop area. I would be really appreciative and of course, I will credit the composer 100% for the piano piece. I will add more information if someone is interested. :)

Looking forward to hearing a reply,
/Matthew

I don't know if this is helpful, but, I know very little about music theory, but managed to get enough info to create my own melodies using this really good website known as: http://www.hooktheory.com/hookpad

It look complicated at first, but they its pretty easy to get a hang of it if you buy the book (which is something I reluctantly did). But it basically allows you to create a complete melody with chord progression, etc. I know nothing about music theory, but know enough to make something from this website now. So, if no one is able to help, you could always try this for something. Anything.

Sorry if this isn't what you want, but it could help?

Hi Matthew,

I have just noticed this post and wonder if you found what you were looking for?

If not, I have composed some piano pieces, some could be described as emotional. :(

With Best Wishes

DON'T FORGET ME -  3min.10  sad piano piece (but not quite sure about 'pop')
Professional recording Piano and other instruments but originally for piano.

An early example of a piano instrumental  which is called HOPE
Later, it was recorded professionally recorded with more instruments. It is part of a Trilogy.

Have uploaded one of the other pieces which is part of the Trilogy

Title - ... MOMENTS OF LOVE (Trilogy title 'Charity')

This example, a professional recording with exquisite guitar has had other instruments added, but was originally for the piano which is there in parts of the music.

It may not be what you are looking for, or is too late, but here it is anyway just in case. :)

Thank you for the kind gesture but they are too classical for my needs. :)

Matthew,

Would it be possible for you to give an example of a sad, emotional pop piano piece?  :) Even if I couldn't write what you asked for, it would still be interesting to know what you are aiming for.

Thanks
Marrianna :)

Hi Matthew

Not sure if this is something you are still looking for but I have a piece on my soundcloud page simply called 'The Piano'.

Not sure whether it fits the bill but feel free to have a listen and let me know what you think.

FWIW Mathew:   Marrianna's piano pieces are incredible.  Some of the best I've heard anywhere imo.

But, if you still haven't heard anything that helps, let me know.  I have a piano rhapsody that might work for you IF you can get a real musician to proof it for you.  I'm not much of a musician, but the piece is quirky, poppy, and has sad and "less sad" elements.
