I've just googled songwriters UK and found this.

First things first I'm not a songwriter, I'm an IT sales guy(not saying that's what I want to be though, thus here)!

But love music and play around with Garageband to create songs and sadly held back by the fact I don't play any instruments properly, but enjoy singing(averagely, but mostly in tune) and can play 15 or so chords on guitar.

For about 9 months I've been looking for a change in career and something else to do and would love to find some other "casual" musicians to work with, if I add any value in the lyrics writing or songwriting area. Happy to post the 8 or so songs I've so far produced with little effort and hope to get feedback, good and bad :)

Probably worth adding I'm 38, love a wide range of music but the only comments I've had so far have been it's a bit 80s! Anyway, it's fun so this is my first reach out the outside world.

Not sure what I do here so will post a song in the Work in Progress and await feedback :)

hello...welcome along!

i'd say the best way forward is to have a look around and get a feel for what we're all up to...we're a friendly bunch!

feel free to chip in with any thoughts and ideas you have about what you see/hear and we'll be happy to reciprocate  :)

Welcome v8burble! :)

I'm also fairly new here (joined about half a year ago) and - as PaulAds says - everyone's super-friendly. You'll fit right in. ;)

Welcome, you can play 15 chords, show off! :)
