I wrote these lyrics hoping to put them to a heavy metal track.  Just trying to convey my feeling about the state of the world at the moment.
They need polishing up a bit and maybe a verse or two added.

End times is what the preacher preaches
Fish spewed up gasping on the beaches
Birds dropping no one knows the reasons
Some say its the changing of the seasons

Armageddon is just around the corner
Four horsemen ready for the slaughter
Armies massing tanks are on the borders
Nukes pointing waiting for their orders

Sun black and dawn will not be breaking
Stars falling mother earth is shaking
Worm-wood has poisoned all the waters
No food to feed your sons and daughters

Armageddon is just around the corner
Don't tell me that I didn't warn yer
Armies marching across the middle east
Six six six is the number of the beast

Hi finestrat,

Just an FYI if it's lyrics-only then posts generally go in the lyrics section.

I really like these to be fair, just strong doom-pending imagery that's done well and I think that would suit a heavy metal track well.

I like the animalistic references throughout too; fish, Birds, horse, beast - it brings a real lively image to the whole thing.
