It's been a while when I posted here last time.
This is one of the songs which we recorded last summer.

Any feedback would be welcome.

Solid Quarter

What time is it?
We're still in pit and the race is on
What time it was
When we got lost now the ride is gone

And it feels so long
Yes it feels so long since solid quarters
These nickels and dimes
remind of times of solid quarters

It seemed so clear
We did not hear how we were warned
By the quiet ring
of the brittle string that holds the sword

And it feels so long
Yes it feels so long since solid quarters
Nickels and dimes
remind the times of solid quarters

Hi,

Good stuff. The music fit the video well - especially the riff with the clock counting down. Lyrics lost me a little - but they worked with the music. Vocally, could perhaps do with a little more attitude. Liked the bass - sat in there nice - got some good energy.

Yeah. Liked it. Welcome back.

Cheers,

Digger.

The petrol head thing isn't really my thing, but i agree with digger, crank this up and you've got some serious energy there, and whilst I'm no expert on the style, i think you have some great musicianship.

Great energy, I liked the 'angular' guitars, the solo and great bass lines too/
Perhaps a bit franz or editors?
The only though was around the mix which seemed a bit bass and vocal a bit too up front to me, so I'd bring the drums and guitars up a bit so they all sit well together.
The other thing was it sounded fairly quiet like it needed mastering to give it that final punch... [I just played Kafla Lovely Disaster and there's a significant difference in volume..]

Neil, thank you for the feedback.
Yes, I noticed that vocals are too up and that's why the song sounds fairly quiet.
