May I ask, is music a hobby for you or is it how you make your living?
Thank you for kind words
The podcast was a joint effort with JAMES NIGHTHAWK, TONE & BECKY - unfortunately "real life" got in the way so we are having a bit of a break at the moment
I have always played guitar (playing in bands - and opening for some big names)
I did make my living teaching guitar many moons ago
I have had some publishing deals for my songs but not had the big break (yet!) so I still have a day job
I have also written for FUTURE MUSIC magazine in the past
I have aspirations to write a book and possibly do some YouTube videos teaching songwriting theory, production etc. specifically aimed at demystifying the whole process for beginners (especially using DAWs and all the confusing tools)
I now own this forum so at some point I plan to pull all of this together to make this forum
THE place for songwriters to come and hang out, where experienced, published, writers can mix with beginners (which happens already and it is fantastic to see everyone improve) with access to some content or even a "programme" to develop various aspects of songwriting such as music theory, lyrics, learning instruments, music production etc. etc. - soooo many ideas, so little time!
I hope that answers your question - Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions
