Hi Bill, congrats on the new album. Lots of contrasting songs on there means there’s something for everyone. All recorded with such clarity - and so many interesting instrumental sounds.
I particularly liked the strong instrumental theme of ‘The Weight of Expectation’, so very melodic - and then I loved how it progressed into the uptempo section. Very strong tune.
The guitar playing on ‘Manning the Grill’ is super. ‘You Wrote the Book’ appealed to me for obvious reasons (!), and that final song about your mum is very tenderly done.
I think you can be proud of this sir, and I’ll certainly have another listen or two. Good luck with it. 👍
