I figured I’d give a little update since you won’t have seen me around flor a couple of weeks.


I went to A&E a couple of weeks ago after having issues with a cough and my breathing was weird. I suspected I might have pneumonia and I was actually correcting that. What I didn’t expect was to be told I’d also had a heart attack! Honestly, I never felt a thing!


So I’m currently in one of the coronary wards recovering. Slow progress because my kidneys h ave also taken a whallop and I have an infection in my gall bladder. Not s urge what’s actually working!


I’m on an iPad so difficult to type much. I’m slowly.improving so don’t worry. I’ll do some browsing not I’ve got access back and I actually feel up to it.

Holy crap @Sterix that's must have been a terrible shock. So glad to hear that you're getting treatment and that you're recovering.. Get well soon and look forward to seeing you fully recovered and posting again.

Hi @Sterix So sorry to hear this but at least you're in the right place now and hopefully you'll be back to full speed soon.

A very similar thing happened to a friend of mine and as a result it was a wake up call. He now leads an extremely healthy life and is probably fitter and happier than he's ever been.

Thanks. I’m still in hospital but hoping to be out next week sometime. I’m waiting on another scan - thought I’m not looking forward to this one. Apart from it involving sticking needles and injecting dye into my wrist it isn’t without risk. 2-5% chance of something bad happening… I’m more than a little nervous.
