I wrote this when I was 19 but took about 15 years till I recorded it.   Finally found a nice vocalist to help me record.

There are some really nice chord changes and melody variations in this tune!
Must feel great to finally hear the vision you had for this so long ago, very nicely done!!

What a great song. I'm sure you wouldn't want to but it's very close to Queens epic sound.
I could hear Freddie putting in those all important add libs,  the harmonies from the rest of the band and Brian May's searing lead break.

I often listen in to this site and never comment but just had to this time, realy, realy first class potential.

Than you for the kind words.  It does feel good to finally get it recorded in 2016.  I did all the instruments myself in a studio with the help of a drum machine and guest vocalist.    Thank you Liz Jones

Queen is one of my favourite band so thank you very much for now making me imagine the man himself singing my song.  oh my god...  can just picture it now


I will take a more active role in the forum and it's lovley to find a great place like this.  All the best music is non mainstream that's for sure.

I will post some more songs after the 14 day rest period as per the forum rules.

It's just a great song. Possibly the piano accompaniment could be a bit more varied, and I could find some nits but that's missing the point. Very nicely written and of course having a great vocalist is fantastic. Great stuff and hope to see more of you around here.

Thank you for the kind words. Am glad you enjoyed the song.

I recorded the piano part first so am now wishing i'd went back over it and made it a bit less of a guide track. 

I will post some more songs after some time so as not to flood the board.  :-)
