Hello forum folk,
I've just received the most wonderful news and really want to shout it from the roof-tops. My 17 year old son Tom, has this morning been offered an apprenticeship with ITV after competing with 1800 applicants. He attended ITV studios in London for a presentation day and interview on separate occasions. He's been waiting patiently and this morning has been invited to join the ITV team as an apprentice Viewer Marketer. He followed his dream and the stars aligned to make it happen. He's a young man who I will miss but I'm incredibly proud of him.
That's the best news that Tom, his family and I could have received!

Awesome news Paul. It's always good to see offspring making their own way.
Now all you need to do is steer him towards being head of ITV entertainment,then you can encourage him to abuse his position of power to make us all rich and famous! ;D

A huge thank you to everyone who has sent their well wishes to Tom. I read them over the telephone the other day and he said to thank everyone too. It made him so happy. His mam had proudly written something on FB and since I don't have a FB account, it was lovely to to announce this to the folk of the forum and bring a big smile to Tom's face.
