Chris,
Lovely guitar work - a simple, effective arrangement, great vocals and overall a very professional sounding recording. If I heard this on Radio 2 (I never listen to Radio1 !)I think it would blend in amongst the other material on their playlist. If I'm going to be slightly negative, I would say that it's not a particularly memorable melody and the lyrics are a bit predictable and "generic" but having said that, this isn't the type of material I would normally choose to listen to so maybe I just don't know what I'm talking about :)
