"starve the loss, and feed the wins" - fabulous. Love the space behind your vocal here - great call to keep it sparse. It also makes it feel timeless - could almost be 100 years old or 1. Like it a lot.

@Dorian - thanks a mill.. lovely comments. Yes, the vox volume definitely was too low - there is actually a compressor on there and I tend to use a fair bit of automation. I've raised it a bit so hopefully enough. And no shooting - I appreciate the advice, my mixing skills are definitely lacking so I appreciate the steers..
