Hello

A bit more up beat than my usual melancholic stuff but not too upbeat that people might think I might smile sometimes!

Not sure how people embed soundcloud on here in case the following is a load of gobblety goop

https://soundcloud.com/featherstonecreative/miss-you-mp3/s-EqNow

Well I miss you,
won't believe
I still love you baby please

When I come home
late at night
your laying in bed alright
you'd miss me
won't believe
you would love it
begging please

Now dry your crying eyes
I hate to see you cry
cos I miss you wont believe
I still love you baby please

So through the door
out the other side
I saw through your web of lies
I missed you
I believed
you'd love it begging please

So with my suitcase
I've got a couple of pounds
I'm gonna drink this potion
and slip in the ocean
and I'm not going to take that girl with me

she said Ben man
"you are melodramatic"
But as soon as the dark came
It's a one way token
first explosion
here

Well I miss you,
won't believe
I still love you baby please

Thank's

@Featherstone

This is one of those songs which just suits itself and ambles along at it's own fine pace. It's self assured and cares not a flying spanner for formula,or songwriting by numbers.

This is music and passion and my heart breaks for those who have no time or inclination to listen.

Love it to bits Ben.  :)

Lovely gentle pace but keeps being interesting all the way, i like the subtle slide guitar and the way it breaks down in the middle and builds back up again, one of those tracks you can close your eyes and sink in.

Great job, Cheers, Mikey

I like your acoustic guitar percussion enhanced by that simple tambourine. Your harmonies on the chorus element really lift this.

Nice how the song almost breaks down in complete peace, away from the beat - such a gentle refuge. Then the pick up is cool too.

It is a song for reflective times, mellow sounds and all very lovely in my view.
My latest novel: pls check it out!

‘Gavin & The Bodysnatchers’, a quirky comedy crime thriller. Easily found on Amazon.

Thank's for you lovely comments everyone.

My album is so nearly finished - I reckon by the winter. When it is I'm going to master it at Abbey Road and give you kind people a private  pre release before it hits the shelves so to speak.

Best

I love this. It's a journey. Really beautiful. You should do a much longer version.

Your voice and your guitar work go hand in hand. This is a really really nice song. I could definitely see this song catching some traction if you put a nick kick drum to it, with some claps or snap.kind of a Mumford & Sons feel. again, REALLY nice. Keep it up!!

This is a really cool song. Not sure how you can add much by mastering (ie it sounds fine to my ears). Its cleverly mixed right now. Reminds me a bit of Beck or Silver Jews. Great slacker vibe. Guitars and vocals work well together. Great job.

I'll not be able to make anymore songs if my hand falls off ! ha. I've already blown my eardrum this ear I could do without any other music related injuries  ;D ;D

Hi Micky - Mastering is for the entire album for my purposes to make all the songs condusive to each other if that makes sense.

Thank's Robert - I'm tempted to do this as an album version and maybe do a single version which is more radio friendly for todays lazy listeners !

Man! Great job! Lovely vibe on this and that breakdown was really lovely. I felt like I was lying in a hammock on the beach at sunset listening to this!! ;D sadly, that couldn’t be further from the truth, I’m actually at a service station on the A3 having me lunch...suns out though sooo... ;)
