enjoy this jim, nice feel to it
though was shocked and stunned at the language..
you go from croydenesh to lousianna in a blink and your back on the bayou on the porch
youve got your vocal sorted a lot better thses days and guitar sounds nice and rich...
you got something against postmen ?
sounds a bit like those old story songs like big bad john..
i may not believe this tomorrow...

I listened to your "song" Jim and was shocked and offended by your use of profanity...

;D It was mad so of course I enjoyed it :)

Fucking terrible language Jim.

I'll come back to this one again and again... loved it. And, great blues playing on the guitar.

And there's simple genius in the line 'Just to keep our......clothes on'. Superb mate.

It may be tongue in cheek but it reeks of absolute truth.

The poor postman. Although, I remember my school days when the posty arrived at breakfast time, not dinner time. Lazy shits!
;)

Nice vibes here, cool acoustic licks and a vocal with character. Rough around the edges but I feel you like that so all good

i was brought up you can swear as much as you like but not on a sunday.....& when i got older & language got terrible in films etc i sort of widened that to must not listen to bad language in films on a sunday
so to get round this i sort of developed a 6th sense for when it was coming in a film & would make a beep noise so i didnt hear it
that worked fine till i tried to watch pulp fiction on a sunday & drove my husband insane!
anyway i heard most of your song as i did my beeps in the right places!
it reminded me of those johnny cash type novelty hits my dad used to love....i realy should have waited to monday to listen :)
Tell me Im wonderful & I ll be nice to you :)

I liked it. It was tongue in cheek but the lyrics are well thought out and the guitar playing is great.

;D you daft bugger! guitaring is ace, love the bit at 1.04 where it sqeaks, i love it when unintentional bits like that happen and sound sweet. this track could be even greater had you taken it seriously haha, its a pretty strong song and a radio friendly straight faced more energised take could make you a cool million 8) (apologies i been on the loopy juice)

Love the "intro" - really made me laugh!

You have captured a great tone from the guitar

The vocal is really nice

If you get bored of the music I think you have a great career ahead of you doing voiceovers! - especially those deep voiced moivie trailers!

Great job and the guitar playing is really coming along nicely
